So 7 wonderful random facts about me. (YIKES!)
1.I have never been pulled over. I am scared out of my mind about being pulled over. I think about it quite a bit and try to think of what I would say.....do I cry? do I make something up? do I talk to him like a friend or just stay quiet?! what do you do?!
2. I have lived in Hawaii twice and in Ankara Turkey. I don't have too may memories of either of them, mostly of Hawaii. Enough that I can still smell distinct smells. I love the people there and the culture. We even named our sons with Hawaiian middle names Gabriel Kalani and Nolan Kai. We will probubly keep doing that too with future children.
3. I have danced all my life. I have tapped the longest and still dream about going back. I have also done jazz, ballet (not graceful enough though), hula, hip hop, and cheer. I love learning new styles of dance. If I had a open night or two a week, I would so go back....but not for a long while.
4. I have gray hair and a lot of it. I am 25 and have a lot of gray hair. Luckily it is mostly in the back, but it is enough that I have to watch how I part my hair just in case my roots are showing.....and no....it isn't blond hair...it is silvery white hair.
5. I say sorry in almost every conversation I am in. A very very bad habit.
6. I delivered Gabe breech. It was my choice and I was young and was scared to death of C-sections. I do not recommend it to anyone. His head got stuck for a long time with out oxygen, and while they were trying to get him to breath they punctured his lung. It was also the WORST back labor ever.
7. Styrofoam makes me want to vomit. I cannot stand it. Even just thinking about it makes me sick. The sound, the texture everything. It is kinda the same way I feel about chalk..........ugh....... I need to stop thinking about it now.....I'm nauseous

Umm, if you ever decide to go back to dance class, let me know and I would SOOO go with you!! LOL!
You have had a very interesting life little Kate. I am fascinated on the places you have lived. Very cool. I promise I will not bring you anything in foam. I wouldn't want to make you sick.
How fun being a dancer :)
OK...I had silver hair early too...at 23...so don't worry about it...you really won't go grey early. Here I am at 61 and I'm still not all grey-although I wish I was! It's so much prettier.
Wow, I don't think I've ever known someone who hasn't been pulled over. I should have put that on my 7 facts!
I am able to part my hair to minimize the grays too, and I feel so lucky for that! Most of them are on the right side of my face. Of course, I can't hide them all!
Oooh, yay! That was fascinating. Styrofoam, huh? Interesting....
Can you see dance enrichment group taught by YOU?
Oooh, I love Kristin's idea!!!! I would totally go to a dance class taught by our very own Kate!
I can't believe it....I hate styrofoam too. My kids know it and every time they get a toy packaged in it, they love to rub it together and try to make me cringe. I've never met anyone else that thinks it's like fingernails on a chalkboard. We must be kindred spirits!
Hi! Thanks for your uber-nice comment! I just did post, so I'll just relieve you of those pins and needles you've been sitting on, wondering what I'll come up with next.
Looks like you are a master Home Chef as well. I'm going to have to go have a helping or two of what you're serving up, I bet it's good!
Thanks again Kate!
Okay, I just left a comment, this is a test, do you have blog owner approval or did my comment disappear?! This is why you don't blog so late at night...
PS -I swear I'm not an idiot...
I am going to Kona!!! :) I can hardly believe it.
uh oh....better get on it. Oh and I about cried seeing your post about your Office season premiere party - I have never felt so homesick for the tri-cities!! I wish we dould have been there :(
i just typed in "styrofoam makes me nauseous" into google to see if anyone shared my problem, and this is the only relevant thing that came up. i don't even know you. i stepped on some today at work and wanted to puke. it's mostly the noise. especially when rubbed together. ahhhh ok ok i'll stop!!!
