We all live in a yellow submarine

So in this summer of chaos, fun, family time, heat waves, and trips, I was able to do a cake for a 5 year old boys birthday party. The mother had said that he loves the movie Yellow Submarine based off of the Beatles hit song "Yellow Submarine". Not knowing anything about the movie, I had to look it up on Youtube and see what it was all about. Talk about a trip! This movie is crazy! crazy in a weird/funny/want to watch more way. I loved the colors and was so excited to assemble this cake.

The first few pictures I posted were when I forgot to put on the headlights. It is amazing how much more it looks like the yellow submarine with just two little headlights!

Looking at the picture I realized I forgot the headlights, but I haven't delivered the cake yet so now I am off to do that :) so just imagine it with headlights!



We are off this next week to the beach and to James' littlest brothers wedding. Then it is going to be getting Gabe ready for his first day of kindergarten. I have plenty to blog about, just no time. I have plenty of Utah pictures, Portland pictures and recipe pictures that are just waiting to be posted!!
